Coming to a Mailbox Near You!

Hello, backers!

As always, it has been terribly busy, but the major news is out: the packages have been shipped!

You all should have received a USPS tracking number sent out within the last few days (or the last two weeks for some of you early ones). I am told they should be arriving at your doors within a week or so, in the US, and within 14 days, internationally.

This has been very exciting for me, even with the delays in shipping and my terribly busy schedule.

However, I am proud to have shipped well in advance of the promised delivery date. I want to make sure I can exceed all of your expectations as I put out this first product and, frankly, learn all these ropes myself! If there is anything about your order that is wrong, or unsatisfactory, please let me know, and I will do what I can to resolve the issue.

I've already been trying, the last few weeks to contact a lot of you personally if I felt there was something that looked wrong on your order, such as quite a few who ordered 2 copies of "Both Expansions." I'm always happy for the "extra donation," but I want to make sure it's intentional, and you get exactly what you want with no surprises. ;) I'm pretty sure all of these issues have been resolved.

There are a few people who still haven't responded to the BackerKit survey. Without that information (like your address!), I can't ship you your game! Please give me those addresses and other information like $ distribution ASAP, so you can get your copy of Heist soon! =)

This has been quite the journey, and I'm very surprised at how it has all come together. There were more delays, life-wise, shipping-wise, and administration-wise (like fixing and correcting orders) than expected, but we've made it to the other side!

There are many more fun things coming for Pair-A-Dice Games and myself, and I'm excited to see what the future holds, and to share them with all of you!

Thank you all again for your support! If you have any questions or comments (or if you don't receive your order in 2-3 weeks), please feel free to get ahold of me.

Until then, Happy Heisting!

You've Got Mail! (Or Will, Soon)
over 9 years ago – Wed, May 06, 2015 at 09:47:55 PM

Hello, thieves!

The games recently arrived, and I was going to delay putting out an announcement until I started shipping, but I received a few questions, and didn't really want to hold back any longer! I'm super excited to get everything in order and start sending out your rewards soon.

I apologize for not being great with lots of updates, and I encourage you all to keep pestering me if you want more updates. This last month I was frantically putting together quite a few projects/papers/etc for my final semester at school, as well as studying for midterms. I also attended a few game design conventions to meet professionals in the industry, as well as try to sell my next card game design (which I'm currently "in talks for").

As you can see, I am always super busy (as I am sure you all are as well), so I will be sending out the projects in a few batches over the next week or two.

First will be the backers at the "Artist" level and above who were promised first delivery. Next will be the international backers. It will take a few weeks I presume for international backers to actually receive their rewards, so I want to get those started ASAP. Lastly,m but certainly not least will be the majority of you. I assume that the mail carriers will only take about a week or two to deliver, so barring any further delays, I feel confident telling you to expect your games before the end of April.

Thank you all so much, once again, for both your support and patience. If you have any questions at all, please let me know!

Some Delays, But All is in Order
over 9 years ago – Fri, Mar 27, 2015 at 02:02:21 PM

Hello, folks!

I am sorry to inform you that I've been told customs is holding the games shipment for verification that the sand in our sand timers aren't actually illegal drugs. If they find that it's just sand, we should be receiving the shipment pretty soon (though I don't know how long the test takes). If the sand timers ARE filled with drugs, then this game will be selling for a LOT more than $10-20! (Just kidding. ;))

I'm told this is normal, and shouldn't be too much of a delay. All the same, wanted to make sure you were updated with the latest.

Also the question came up if everything was shipped together or separately. The expansions are being shipped along with the base game, so you should receive them simultaneously, and still well in advance of the anticipated date.

Thanks, and Happy Heisting!

On Their Way!
almost 10 years ago – Fri, Feb 06, 2015 at 06:06:36 PM

Hello, thieves! I am excited to announce that Heist is on its way. I have received the advance copy to look over, and I'm SO HAPPY and excited to have a physical product in my hands. This dream could only have happened with your support, and belief in this game!

I've already sent them (our manufacturers) the rest of the payment for the game, and they told me that it shipped last night. Again, we've made sure we have speedy air-shipping, so we should receive it soon. Once we do, I'll begin packaging it and shipping the copies out. First up will the promised early copies for backers at the $50 (Artist) Tier. Please keep in mind that to keep our costs down, and maximize the value of the game, I put money into better quality components and faster delivery, but will be packaging and shipping the products by hand, so this last step may be a while. I'll update you more when I know approximate time frames.

This is also a reminder to all of you who haven't updated BackerKit yet: I've started locking down a few accounts already, and will ship to those accounts ASAP. Get your responses in earlier, and I'll be able to ship your games earlier so that you can hopefully receive them in February/March! Also, it's not too late for you or your friends to get a copy of the game/expansion, if you haven't already!

Heist Has Been Printed!
almost 10 years ago – Thu, Jan 29, 2015 at 06:16:53 AM

I just got email confirmation today that Heist has been printed and cut, and will be packaged and shipped out to me TOMORROW! As we have the Air Shipping from them, we should receive it by the end of the month! That means we can start shipping as early as February!

In anticipation of this, I've pushed through the BackerKit, and it will be available after a professional review. Also, if you have any friends or family members who may be interested in getting Heist at its (mostly) discounted Kickstarter price, you can send them to the pre-order page HERE. They can order any combination of base game and expansions through there, and it will only be a couple dollars more than if they had helped back the campaign!

Also, without further ado, the standard BackerKit form letter:

"In a couple days, we will be sending an email with a special link to BackerKit surveys. It is important that when you receive the survey, you get it back to us as quickly as you can. Our ability to make an order depends on receiving this information. Filling out your BackerKit survey is not required, but will help out our project tremendously, and help us get your rewards out to you quicker.

You do not need to make a login and password to fill out your survey, just fill it out and you’re all good to go!

In the BackerKit survey, please answer any questions we may have regarding your pledge, provide shipping information, pay for international shipping if you forgot, and if you want you can even order more items or “add-ons”. You do not have access to this link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

If you’ve decided later that you filled out something wrong in the survey, you can actually go back and change it anytime before June 1st for changes.

If you use your Facebook login for your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit invite will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email you prefer it to be sent to, please email [email protected]."

Again, thank you all for helping support Heist! Look forward to an update when we receive the product in a couple days.
